At Doorways of NW Florida, we believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home and the opportunity to build a better future. As the lead agency of the Northwest Florida Continuum of Care (CoC), we coordinate community-wide efforts to prevent and end homelessness throughout our region.
We serve as a central point of contact for individuals and families who are unhoused or at risk, helping connect them to essential resources such as shelter, permanent housing, employment support, and case management. By partnering with local organizations, government agencies, and service providers, we help people not only find housing but also access the tools they need to achieve lasting stability, leading to a full life.
In addition to providing direct support, Doorways of NW Florida plays a key administrative role in the region’s response to those experiencing homelessness. We are the Collaborative Applicant for federal and state funding, the HMIS Lead for data and reporting, and the hub for Coordinated Entry, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and equitably to those most in need.
